Speaking Topic: From the Projects to the White House: Lessons Learned Along the Way

Description: Julio Barreto grew up in a housing project in the Bronx, New York. While he believed his life would continue beyond the projects, never in his wildest dreams did he think he would one day live and work in Washington, DC. Using real life experiences, Julio shares the lessons learned from his days in the Bronx, to his travels in upstate New York and outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to his transition to Washington, DC.
